The Patent
Our belief
There are several reasons Li-ion battery degrades. Among them, we believe the Root Cause is electrolyte breakdown. 70% of the electrolyte is carbonate ester which is used as solvent. Carbonate ester is the conductive channel inside the battery, equivalent to a wire. It decomposes to gas such as Carbon Monoxide, alcohol such as Methanol. And the oxygen molecules inside is the danger. These organic compounds leads to battery degradation and thermal runaway.
Our story
A decade ago, we embarked on the LFP production and the recycling of end-of-life lead-acid batteries. As frontline professionals, we utilized our valuable time to gradually explore and experiment, discovering the secrets to resisting battery aging. In the following work, we repeatedly tested and compared lithium batteries of various brands and chemical properties, and developed some early devices. We basically verified that this non-invasive and non-disassembling recharging method is feasible.
For better intellectual property protection, we chose to stay away from the bustling industry chain and focused on understanding and optimizing the technical methods. After relocating to the UK, we applied for patent and completed some demos in real environment. With the help of our academic partner, we proved that Lithium battery decay is reversible.
As long as the Li-ion battery is not physically damaged, we can revive and reinforce it by charging.
It is not by Constant Current - Constant Voltage, the nowadays standard.
We recharge the degraded battery by Bidirectional DC with Voltage Control and AC Oscillation, our patented way.
